The Design Process
Designing without an editor
Since Swarmed is a sidescroller we didn’t feel the need to create overviews for the levels. Although since this was our first project where we had to develop our own engine, we decided to divide our levels into segments and creating them on paper.
Doing this greatly increased our efficiency when working in editor.
